Your site ID
Your site ID names one site in CitedSEO. It is the only thing the feed needs.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”In the CitedSEO app, open Settings, then Integrations, then Publishing. The feed address is shown there with a copy button. Your site ID is the first part of its path:
GET
https://feeds.citedseo.ai/{siteId}/feed/index.jsonEach site has its own ID, so a workspace with several sites has several feeds.
It is a read key, not a secret
Section titled “It is a read key, not a secret”The feed holds only your live articles, which are already public on your site, and the ID is a long random value nobody can guess. Reading the feed gives nobody anything they couldn’t get from your blog, so:
- You can read the feed from the browser. It answers any origin.
- You can commit the ID to your repository or put it in a public environment variable.
- There is nothing to rotate.
Keep it in one place
Section titled “Keep it in one place”Put the ID in an environment variable so the feed address is built once:
CITEDSEO_SITE_ID=YOUR_SITE_IDThe framework guides all read it from CITEDSEO_SITE_ID.
